Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. The role emphasizes safety, NFPA 70B, and NETA standards to maintain uptime and reliability of facility electrical infrastructure.

You will service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls while documenting results and complying with safety requirements.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of NEC rules and OSHA/NFPA 70E and other safety standards.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficient with electrical tools and testing equipment.
Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat signatures.
Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
Service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls to ensure reliability.
Document inspections, test results, actions, and recommendations.
Enforce safety programs including LOTO and arc-flash procedures.
Communicate with customers and team about equipment condition.
