Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to service electrical systems in industrial environments. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to ensure reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA rules, and are comfortable traveling up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E/NFPA 70B.
• Able to travel up to 100%.
• Strong preventive maintenance planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Identify faults via infrared thermography.
• Inspect wiring and components for wear or damage.
• Service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and actions.
• Enforce safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash.
• Coordinate with customers and team on condition and actions.
• Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.
