Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for field oversight on industrial electrical installations across projects in the Power sector. The role requires hands-on leadership, safety focus, and the ability to manage craft teams in congested field conditions.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, travel/relocation willingness, and a commitment to quality, productivity, and on-time project delivery under Kiewit Power Constructors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical installation scopes.
• Proven ability to supervise craft workers.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing the performance of safety, quality and production
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications and electrical code requirements
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
