Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent in the United States (Iowa) to lead field operations on industrial electrical installations including underground duct banks, above ground conduit, cable trays, cable pulling and terminations. You will spend significant time in the field, ensuring safety, quality and productivity under your supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specs and electrical code.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion.
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties with project and management.
• Uphold safety, attendance and conduct policies across the project.
