Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical installations, including underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, pulling and terminations. You will spend significant time in the field ensuring safety, quality and productivity on power projects across North America.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial electrical work, ability to travel/relocate, and strong leadership to supervise craft crews while upholding safety and project schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in industrial electrical installation scopes of work. Candidates for this role are not required to have Superintendent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality and timely completion.
• Team orientation with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Commitment to ethics and integrity while delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Plan, schedule and execute field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications and electrical codes.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to maintain workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to support the overall project timeline.
• Resolve conflicts and scheduling issues, informing management as appropriate.
• Ensure safety, attendance and workplace behavior policies are followed consistently.
