Kiewit is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to oversee a design team on power generation EPC projects. You will manage the electrical raceway design, coordinate with multiple disciplines and construction, and ensure safe, cost-effective solutions that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities include leading a group of designers, tracking progress, and mentoring the team throughout the project life cycle. Strong leadership, communication, and 3D design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical design experience
• Experience leading electrical design teams
• Experience managing budget and schedule
• Power generation experience preferred
• Experience with SmartPlant 3D
• Ability to conceptualize in 3D environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Lead a group of electrical designers in developing electrical raceway systems
• Manage electrical design activities against project schedule and budget
• Track and report design progression to project management
• Complete monthly reports for quantities, schedule and forecasting
• Interface with construction to ensure safety, constructibility and cost efficiency
• Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers, and construction
• Check design deliverables for accuracy and adherence to standards
• Coordinate with project team using Project Database and related processes
• Mentor design team and support field resolution as needed
