Kiewit is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to head a design team on EPC power generation projects. You will manage electrical raceway systems, coordinate with disciplines, and ensure safe, cost-effective designs throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires guiding design activities against timelines and budgets, mentoring designers, and interfacing with construction to ensure constructibility and quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.
• Experience managing budget and schedule.
• Power generation experience, preferred.
• Experience in SmartPlant 3D.
• Able to conceptualize in a 3D environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a group of electrical designers in developing electrical raceway systems.
• Manage electrical design activities against project schedule and budget.
• Track and report design progression to project management.
• Complete monthly reports for quantities, schedule and forecasting.
• Interface with construction to ensure design is safe, constructible, and low cost.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers and construction on the design.
• Check design deliverables for accuracy, quality and adherence to standards.
• Use applicable engineering codes.
• Coordinate with the project team via databases and RFI processes.
• Provide miscellaneous support for project development and field resolution.
