Job summary

The Raymond Corporation in El Paso, TX is seeking a Dock & Door Service Technician to service industrial loading dock equipment and doors at customer facilities.

This role requires diagnosing, repairing and installing dock levelers, vehicle restraints, and related equipment, with a focus on safety and customer service. You will work independently and participate in ongoing training, with overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing industrial equipment, commercial doors, dock equipment, or similar mechanical systems.
• Mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and equipment specifications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls at customer locations to inspect, diagnose, and repair dock and door equipment.
• Install and service dock levelers, industrial doors, vehicle restraints, locks, and safety equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Document work performed using service reports and service summaries.
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers.
• Assist with preparing service repair proposals when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent The Raymond Corporation with excellent customer service.
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
