Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Crane & Rigging Sales Representative in the United States Midwest to develop long-term customer relationships and drive growth through crane, rigging, and lifting solutions. You will meet customers, assess project needs, and coordinate with operations to deliver safe, cost-effective results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial sales, construction, manufacturing, or related field.
• Strong business development and relationship management.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in crane, rigging, lifting solutions.
• Ability to evaluate project requirements and develop practical customer solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to pass fit-for-duty examination.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Identify opportunities for crane, rigging, and lifting services.
• Conduct meetings and site visits to evaluate requirements and develop solutions.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and lift plans for safe execution.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure projects are planned and executed.
• Develop understanding of customer operations and lift challenges.
• Present solutions and follow through from contact to award.
• Support safe project execution by identifying risks and aligning with capabilities.
• Maintain accurate customer, project, and opportunity data.
