Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for advanced facilities. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, collaborating with global teams across multiple projects and locations.

The role requires an engineering degree and experience in instrumentation and controls, BIM design, and familiarity with P&IDs. A hybrid work model is offered with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data centers, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
