Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for data center, semiconductor, and other facilities. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings of control systems while collaborating with global multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects with strong organizational skills.

The role involves working on state‑of‑the‑art facilities, using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, and leveraging Microsoft Office tools to produce accurate

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state‑of‑the‑art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
