Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for advanced facilities. You will produce 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinate with global teams, and manage schedules across multiple projects.

The role supports diverse data center and manufacturing projects with a hybrid work model across US locations. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, 2+ years BIM design experience, and proficiency with BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and MS

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data centers, semiconductors, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
