Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams per ANSI/ISA S5.1 and panel layouts for state-of-the-art data centers, semiconductor facilities and industrial plants. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinate with global multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules to deliver world-class designs.

The role requires a degree in engineering, experience with instrumentation and controls, BIM design (BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and strong proficiency with

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&IDs.
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
