Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams, sensor placements and panel layouts for data centers, semiconductor and industrial facilities. You will collaborate with global design teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality drawings.

The role requires engineering stakeholders’ liaison, strong BIM software proficiency (BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and solid Microsoft Office skills. Hybrid work available in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams.
• 2+ years BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
