Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel layouts for industrial facilities, including data centers and semiconductors. You’ll work on state-of-the-art designs, collaborate with global teams, and manage schedules to deliver projects on time.

Required are an Engineering degree, experience with instrumentation and controls, and proficiency in BIM tools (BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD). The role supports a hybrid work model within the United States.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls is required.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs) is expected.
• 2+ years of BIM design experience and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design data centers, semiconductor and industrial facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time across multiple projects.
