Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent for Industrial projects in Baltimore. You will support the project manager in formulating schedules, ensure proper installation methods, and maintain accurate daily site documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, budget adherence, and timely closeouts. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, OSHA 30, and proficiency with ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• Experience with commercial construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project scheduling with the project manager and ensure sequence of installation.
• Maintain project quality standards across all aspects of the project.
• Foster good relationships with subcontractors and manage site team logistics.
• Ensure accurate daily documentation of work orders and subcontractor scope to avoid change orders.
• Coordinate site facilities, utilities, and long-lead item expediting.
