Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the East Area to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related air-system components at customer sites. High focus on diagnostic trouble shooting and knowledge of equipment manuals is required.

Roles involve on-site service, travel to customer locations, and providing technical guidance while maintaining detailed reports and records for billing and service quality.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems or related technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors/controls, PLCs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components at customer sites.
• Provide technical advice and train customers, field sales, and trainees.
• Submit technical reports and accurate records for billing and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installation and repair requirements.
