Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician (East Area) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components at customer sites. The role requires knowledge of manuals and field procedures, and a strong focus on safety and quality service.

The position involves working at customer locations, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with sales and service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years' experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• EPA 608 / F-GAS 303/2008/CE/ISHRAE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at purchaser locations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of field installation requirements.
• Provide technical training to customers, field staff, and trainees.
• Diagnose problems and submit clear, detailed reports for billing.
