Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the East Area to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components at customer sites. Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret equipment manuals are essential.

The role involves field service across multiple locations, occasional travel, and on-call rotations. A relevant technical background and EPA 608 certification are valued.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems and related equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of service, diagnosis and startup of rotary and centrifugal air compressors encouraged.
• EPA 608/F-GAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at the purchaser's location.
• Provide technical advice and training to customers and field staff.
• Diagnose problems and document findings for manufacturing.
• Submit clear records and time/expense reports weekly.
• Maintain integrity and effective communication in service work.
