Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the East Area to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating compressors and related air systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues using precision tools and reference service manuals.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, maintenance, and providing training to customers and field staff. A strong mechanical background and willingness to travel are required; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems or related technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, wiring diagrams, motors/controls is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems and provide corrective actions.
• Train customers and field staff on equipment operation.
• Submit detailed service reports and keep accurate expense records.
