Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the East Area to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components at customer sites. The role includes diagnostic work with precision tools and understanding equipment manuals.

Training will be provided to customers and field staff. The position requires 2–5 years’ experience with industrial systems, a valid driver’s license, and EPA 608 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of service, diagnosis, and startup of rotary and centrifugal air compressors, dryers, cooling towers, and filtration systems encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Keep up-to-date with field installation and repair requirements.
• Provide technical advice and train customers, field sales personnel, and service trainees.
• Diagnose problems, propose corrective actions, and submit clear reports to the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain accurate expense accounts, timecards, and company records.
