Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to support customers in the East area. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors, along with related compressed air system components, at customer sites to ensure uptime.

You will rely on your hands-on diagnostic skills, read equipment manuals, and train customers and field staff as needed. A strong safety mindset, clear documentation, and reliable communication are essential to succeed in

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Desirable HVAC or Electrical/Electronic technology training.
• Driver's license valid for 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems and report findings to manufacturing facility.
• Train customers and field staff as needed.
• Submit detailed technical reports and timecards weekly.
