Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components. You will use precision tools to diagnose problems and refer to manuals for operations.

The role involves field service at various customer sites and requires knowledge of equipment manuals. This position emphasizes hands-on technical work, safety, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems or related tech is a plus.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors/controls a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the correct installation, maintenance, and field repair of the equipment at the purchaser’s location.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of field installation and repair requirements.
• Provide technical advice and be able to train customers, field salesmen, and field service trainees.
• Diagnose problems, recommend corrective action in unsupervised environment and submit clear records/reports.
• Maintain a high degree of integrity in handling business affairs.
• Submit detailed technical reports on each service call in a legible fashion for billing.
