Job summary

Globex is seeking a highly experienced Manager of Business Development in Canfield, OH to accelerate growth across Midwest industrial markets. You will lead strategic outreach, build executive relationships, and shape proposals from concept to delivery.

The role is a hunter/relationship-driven position requiring 5+ years in BD or technical sales within heavy manufacturing, steel, utilities, or industrial services, with travel and a strong engineering/business background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, technical sales, account management, or industrial consulting.
• Background in engineering, inspection, industrial services, manufacturing, or construction.
• Established relationships within steel, metals, utilities, or industrial markets.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business across Heavy Manufacturing, Utilities, Metals, Mining, Government, and Industrial sectors.
• Build relationships with plant managers, engineering leaders, maintenance teams, and executive decision-makers.
• Develop proposals, capability statements, and client presentations.
• Represent Globex at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Partner with our engineering and inspection teams to ensure client success from pitch to delivery.
