Job summary
Innovative IDM is seeking a Territory Manager with a strong technical background in industrial automation to drive growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts. The role emphasizes solving customer challenges, demonstrating products, and collaborating across teams to deliver customized automation solutions.
You will work with manufacturers, OEMs, and system integrators, promoting automation components, VFDs, servo systems, and controls while building lasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of sales or business development in technical industry.
- Strong technical background in industrial automation systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Find, develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers.
- Weekly phone work to setup face-to-face appointments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Perform Joint sales calls with vendor reps.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
