Innovative IDM, LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer in Illinois to drive growth in factory automation solutions. You will engage with OEMs, MROs, and system integrators, deliver technical demonstrations, and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.

The role requires a strong automation background, 2+ years in technical sales, and excellent communication. In-person work schedule includes office and field days with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in sales or business development in technical industry preferred.
• Strong technical background in industrial automation systems and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with CRM.
• Experience with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Find, develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers.
• Weekly phone work to setup face-to-face appointments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Perform Joint sales calls with vendor reps.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers and Suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
