The George E. Booth Co. is a family-owned industrial automation sales company seeking a full-time Account Manager in Lafayette, IN and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will develop customer understanding, maintain open communication, and regularly travel locally during business hours with a clean driving record. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or technical field preferred with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in selling products in the process control industry.
• Experience managing and growing a geographic sales territory, including cold calling, scheduling appointments, and optimizing travel routes.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and prioritize leads and opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Locate and develop new business opportunities within a territory for each product segment and negotiate terms with customers.
• Communicate regularly with current and potential customers and oversee all sales activity within the territory.
• Report on all sales activity via Salesforce and manage business through that platform.
• Coordinate with inside support for cost, quality, and shipping/receiving and interact with principal representatives in the territory.
• Manage workload and respond to customers promptly, including follow‑up on potential leads.
