Rexel USA in Orlando, FL is seeking an Industrial Controls Specialist to drive growth in automation products and services. You will support pre- and post-sales activities, provide technical assistance, and collaborate with Inside Sales to quote and expedite orders.

The role emphasizes customer relations, solution-oriented communication, and ongoing technical knowledge expansion across high-tech equipment and control systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Electrical distribution industry experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High School diploma or GED is required
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer.
• Develop sales strategies, promotions, programs, and plans for sales growth.
• Develop annual performance goals, objectives, and sales action plans.
• Prepare periodic sales funnel and weekly sales reports.
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on-site visit, phone, and email.
• Establish relationships with sales and customers to understand sales potential.
• Ascertain customer needs by visits, phone, and other research methods.
• Work with sales to establish joint strategies and activities.
• Provide knowledge to Inside Sales to aid quoting and order processing.
• Create and present technical and commercial training for customers.
• Describe or demonstrate product to customers.
• Follow up on leads from management and partners.
• Acquire and continuously develop personal technical knowledge.
• Provide quotations, proposals or estimates of prices and scope of work.
• Move projects through the sales cycle to closure.
