Job summary

Rexel USA in Solon, OH is seeking an Automation Specialist focused on PLC, HMI, and automation software to grow sales and support customers. You will lead technical discussions, prepare quotes, and coach teams to deliver effective solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in automation, a strong understanding of electrical distribution, and a Bachelor's degree or higher. This is a full-time, on-site role with exposure to field projects and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equivalent experience in automation sales or applications.
• Electrical distribution industry or related experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer.
• Develop sales strategies, programs, and plans for growth.
• Establish relationships with sales and customers to understand potential.
• Provide technical support via on-site visits, phone, and email.
• Create and present technical and commercial training for customers.
• Move projects through the sales cycle to conclusion.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and estimates of prices and scope.
