Job summary

Rexel USA seeks an Automation Specialist to drive growth in PLC, HMI, and software solutions within Solon, OH. You will deliver pre- and post-sales support, develop sales strategies, and provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams to move projects through the sales cycle.

The role requires 5+ years of applicable experience, a valid driver's license, and a background in electrical distribution or related fields.

Qualifications

5+ years of equivalent experience
Electrical distribution industry or related experience required
Valid Driver’s License
High School or GED - Required
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer
Develop sales strategies, promotions, programs, and plans for sales growth
Develop annual performance goals, objectives, and sales action plans
Prepare periodic sales funnel, weekly sales reports, etc.
Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on-site visit, phone, and email
Establish relationships with sales and customers to better understand sales potential
Ascertain customer needs by visits, phone, and other research
Work with sales to establish joint strategies and activities
Provide expert knowledge to Inside Sales to facilitate quoting, order entry, and order expediting
Create and present technical and commercial training for internal and external customers
Describe or demonstrate product to customers
Follow up on all business leads assigned by management, marketing, technical department, or supplier partners
