Job summary

Rexel is seeking an Industrial Automation Specialist in Denver to drive sales growth for automation products and provide robust pre-sales and post-sales support. You will troubleshoot, interpret specifications, and deliver technical documentation for customers, while building strong relationships to uncover new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• High School or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Proficient with Excel/Outlook/Word.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Ability to write reports and business communications.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with solid sales acumen.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals for assigned technology offers.
• Develop sales strategies, promotions, and plans for growth.
• Create annual performance goals and sales action plans.
• Prepare periodic sales funnel and weekly reports.
• Provide technical support to customers via on-site visits, phone, and email.
• Build relationships with customers to understand sales potential.
• Identify customer needs through visits and research.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to support quoting and order expediting.
• Create technical and commercial training for customers and staff.
• Describe and demonstrate products to customers.
• Follow up on leads from management, marketing, or partners.
• Continuously develop personal technical knowledge.
• Provide quotations or proposals for price, scope, and terms.
