Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Toledo, OH, seeks an Account Manager to drive sales in distribution and power management. You will identify prospective customers, understand requirements, present proposals, and build long-term relationships with cross-functional support from technical specialists.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with travel up to 40%+, a four-year engineering/technical degree preferred, and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of selling experience with similar product applications in an industrial environment.
• 4 year degree in Engineering or other technical applications preferred.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Strong understanding of rotating electrical AC/DC machines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team and pursue strategies, visits, and follow-up.
• Analyze customer requirements and coordinate with technical specialists for proposals.
• Present proposals and establish long-term customer relationships based on IPS capabilities.
• Collaborate with management on pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations.
• Stay informed about marketplace competition and bidding scenarios.
