Job summary

Etheredge Industrial Services is seeking an Account Manager to develop and maintain customer relationships, generating sales opportunities for industrial AC/DC motor repair, field service, and related electrical/mechanical services.

You will be the primary contact for assigned accounts while pursuing new business in industrial, manufacturing, municipal, utility, and commercial markets. Strong communication and negotiation skills, plus travel within the territory, are essential.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or account management experience preferred.
• Experience in electric motor repair or rotating equipment desirable.
• Ability to read and understand technical information and service quotations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Promote motor, generator, pump repair and related services.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Coordinate with internal operations to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Follow up on quotations and proposals to secure orders.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activities.
• Assist with contract negotiations and customer agreements.
• Attend industry events and customer meetings.
• Achieve sales goals and revenue targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after projects.
