Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth in the assigned territory, developing new customer accounts, advising on service center capabilities, and introducing new services to customers. The role focuses on distribution and local motor/power management sales across North America.

You will build long-term relationships, coordinate with technical specialists, present proposals, and manage pricing discussions while traveling up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years selling experience in an industrial environment.
• Travel up to 40% of the time as part of the role.
• Understanding of rotating electrical AC/DC machines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop new customer accounts and cross-sell.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team.
• Call on customers and follow up with visits and correspondence.
• Coordinate proposals with technical specialists for complex modifications.
• Present proposals to customers and establish long-term relationships.
• Consult on pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations.
• Stay informed about competition and bid situations.
