Job summary

Viking Electric in Addison, IL is hiring an Industrial Account Manager to drive growth for OEM, MRO and other industrial accounts. You’ll develop and execute market strategies, primarily through telemarketing and electronic outreach, and partner with customers to promote our solutions.

Responsibilities include building relationships, negotiating pricing, and collaborating with product specialists to deliver timely information and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of business-to-business sales preferably in the electrical industry or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Electric products and Sunrise Electric services and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and maintain relationships with various levels of customer organizations by providing value and commercial insight.
• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders and meet schedules; develop pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with product specialists to ensure timely information and services for customers.
