Job summary

Stine Seed Company in Ashland County, Ohio, is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to grow our corn and soybean seed business across the Northern Ohio territory. This role offers a hybrid/partial remote arrangement with flexible scheduling to serve growers effectively.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with growers, manage existing accounts, recruit new ones, and collaborate with the regional agronomist to support customers with high-quality products and service.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, strong negotiation and dealer development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the territory.
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine products and services applicable to the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the territory to meet sales goals.
• Work with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support within the territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, personally or through a designated seller.
