Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative for Eastern Ohio, based in Knox County with hybrid/partial remote work options in the Midwest United States. The role focuses on growing seed sales for corn and soybeans, building strong grower relationships, and delivering agronomic product knowledge.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in agriculture (agronomy, crop production, or seed sales), excellent communication, and proven dealer development skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques; strong negotiating skills and obstacle overcoming.
• Experience in dealer development and retention.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies to meet district sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, directly or via a designated seller.
