Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The role requires licensure in the state and the ability to work independently with geriatric residents.

The position involves assessing and treating patients, initiating therapies, and maintaining meticulous documentation while collaborating in IDT meetings. Schedule includes 4–6 hour shifts, potential up to 8, and weekend work (Saturday/Sunday).

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients with various respiratory and other illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and inspect equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and provide quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation; participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy; applicable to long-term care settings.
• Follow facility procedures and manage caseload; support respiratory care program.
