Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing invites an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will hold an active state license (RRT/CRT) and demonstrate the ability to evaluate and treat residents independently, with a passion for geriatric care and functional therapy activities.

The RT will perform assessments, initiate therapies, document thoroughly, and participate in quarterly in-services and IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in long-term care settings.
• Follow facility procedures and policies; perform caseload management.
