Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver rehabilitation in home and community settings across life activities—from kitchen tasks to grocery shopping and workplace activities. You’ll work autonomously within a collaborative team, focusing on real-life functional outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license by state of practice
• Current BLS or CPR certification per state regulations
• At least 1 year of PT work experience preferred
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with up to 100 pounds
• Physical requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, and extended standing/walking
• Push/pull, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning as needed
• Health screen may be required before assignment and periodically thereafter

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family members
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes
