Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, and community settings. You will evaluate, plan, and adjust treatment for real-life activities and environments.

The role offers autonomy within a collaborative therapy team, with travel and mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule tailored to client needs. Must hold a PT license and BLS/CPR, with prior neuro rehab exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• CPR/BLS certification as per state regulation.
• At least one year of PT work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
• Effective communication in verbal and written form.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Endurance for standing/walking for extended periods and moving patients.
• May require health screening prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Re-assess treatment effectiveness and participate in staffing/family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and advise on home safety and referrals.
• Communicate needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, patients and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
