Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in California is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, or community settings. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and work autonomously as part of a collaborative therapy team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s PT experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Communicates effectively in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Health screen may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing/family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
