Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced Commercial & Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to join our nationwide network as approved vendors in California. You will conduct interior and/or exterior loss control inspections for insured properties; no license is required and payments are made per inspection.

Appointments are set by mutual convenience, reports uploaded via a cloud system, and payments are issued weekly after order completion.

Qualifications

• One year or more experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys.
• 3–5 years experience in commercial loss control assignments.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Upload report and photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
