Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced loss control consultants to conduct interior and exterior inspections. As an approved vendor, you will be contracted for inspections in your coverage area, paid per inspection, with weekly payments after completion. No licensing required; must provide your own equipment and vehicle.

Reports are uploaded via a cloud system after site visits. Applicants should have 1 year of residential loss control survey experience and 3–5 years in commercial loss

Qualifications

• One year experience verifying interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports.
• 3–5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Ability to work quickly to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet.
• Detail oriented, well organized with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property.
• Upload report/photos through cloud-based system by deadline.
• Become familiar with client guidelines and communicate with Preferred Reports and insureds.
