Job summary

Preferred Reports seeks experienced Commercial & Personal Lines loss control consultants to become approved vendors. Contract work involves interior/exterior inspections across a regional area, with reports delivered through a cloud system.

Fees are set in advance, and payments are issued weekly on order completion. Applicants provide a current resume, pass background checks (criminal may be included) and may undergo a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year experience in interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports.
• 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and reliable high-speed internet.
• Be detail oriented, organized and able to cover a wide territory.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
• Become familiar with client specific guidelines.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
