Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance Consultants to become approved vendors. You will be contracted to conduct interior and/or exterior loss control inspections in your area. No licensing is required.

Appointments are set at mutual convenience, and inspections and reports are handled through a cloud‑based system. This contract‑based work is paid per inspection; weekly payment on order completion.

Qualifications

• One year experience in interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and 3–5 years in commercial loss control.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented, well organized and have a flexible schedule.
• Possess a reliable car capable of covering a wide territory as needed.
• Have a digital camera, measure wheel or similar device; camera pole extending up to 12 ft and measuring tool for loss control work.
• Have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property as required.
• Upload report and photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
• Become familiar with client-specific guidelines.
• Communicate as needed with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
