Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced Commercial and Personal Loss Control Consultants to join our network as independent contractors. You will perform interior and exterior loss control inspections in your area, using your own equipment, reporting through our cloud-based system, with weekly payments after order completion.

No license is required, but you must provide a resume, pass a background check, and be able to cover a wide territory with reliable transportation. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year's experience completing interior/exterior residential insurance loss control surveys and reports and 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable car to cover wide territory, as needed.
• Must have a digital camera and high speed internet with knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Must have a camera pole up to 12 ft and a measuring tool for PL work.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through cloud-based system by the deadline.
• Become familiar with client guidelines.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
