GDI Infotech, Inc. in Detroit seeks an experienced IT Technician to provide hands-on support across a Microsoft-based environment. This role goes beyond a traditional help desk, requiring ownership from issue intake to resolution and collaboration with technology vendors.

You will troubleshoot Windows 11, Intune, AD/Entra ID, security tools, and end-user devices while supporting onboarding, deployments, licensing, and security investigations. Occasional travel to onsite locations is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with software/hardware vendors and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for Windows 11 workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and business applications.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and networking issues.
• Configure, deploy, and support devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, equipment deployments, licensing, and account administration.
• Review phishing, spam, and suspicious email reports and assist with endpoint security investigations and remediation.
• Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support Active Directory, Entra ID, security groups, shared mailboxes, and access management.
• Participate in workstation deployments, application upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
• Travel to organizational locations as needed for onsite support.
