Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Support Services team. In a multi-site corporate and manufacturing environment, you will provide hands-on end-user support for hardware, software, and devices to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work independently, and experience with Windows 11, O365, Active Directory, MDM, VPN, and incident tracking.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of desktop or end-user support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) and Active Directory.
• Experience with Windows 11, VPN, and basic networking.
• Laptop imaging and deployment experience.
• Mobile device support for iOS and Android.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop support for end users, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Manage Windows 11 configurations and issue resolution.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
• Manage user accounts and groups in Active Directory.
• Support collaboration tools (Teams, Webex).
• Maintain Asset database and perform imaging/deployment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and VPN access.
• Provide mobile device and printer support.
• Document issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
