Job summary

Colleton River Club in Bluffton, SC, seeks a Golf Course Café Cook to independently manage the Halfway Café on the course. You’ll prepare fresh, made-to-order items, greet members, take orders, handle POS transactions, and keep the café stocked and clean.

Ideal candidates have experience in golf club or private club dining environments, and a knack for multitasking while delivering friendly service to members.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or cooking preferred.
• Experience in golf course halfway house or private club preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage workflow.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare made-to-order breakfast and lunch items quickly and consistently.
• Work independently as the café’s short-order cook.
• Greet members and guests, provide friendly, efficient service.
• Take food and beverage orders at the counter and ring up purchases with the POS system.
• Brew and maintain fresh coffee and tea throughout the day.
• Prepare and stock grab-and-go items and keep the area stocked and organized.
• Set up the café for service and ensure readiness before golfers arrive.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, counter, and dining area.
